Why Operation Safed Sagar pays tribute to late comedian Raju Srivastava after every episode

Operation Safed Sagar, a six-part military drama on Netflix, pays tribute to late comedian Raju Srivastava at the end of each episode. Raju was the paternal uncle of the series' creator, Kushal Srivastava, and played a significant role in Kushal's transition from the Indian Air Force to filmmaking. Kushal spent seven years in the Indian Air Force before deciding to pursue a career in filmmaking, a path Raju Srivastava helped him begin.

When Kushal expressed his desire to leave the Air Force and join the film industry, Raju initially joked about his ambition but eventually helped him secure permission to leave. Kushal later moved to Mumbai to study filmmaking, staying with Raju, who provided valuable feedback on his scripts and storytelling. The tribute to Raju Srivastava is a testament to his lasting influence on Kushal's filmmaking journey.
