What to know about Prince Harry’s move back to Britain with Meghan and the kids

Prince Harry is returning to Britain with his wife Meghan and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. This move comes after a six-year separation from the royal family, during which they left their roles as working members of the family and moved to America. The couple plans to live in a private residence outside of London and will continue to work through lucrative contracts with Netflix, Spotify, and other ventures.

Meghan will maintain her company, As Ever, while Harry may focus more on his British-based charities. Harry and Meghan have enrolled their children in British schools, with classes beginning in September. The move is seen as a potential step towards repairing the rift with the royal family, especially with their father, King Charles III, who has recently expressed a desire for reconciliation.

However, repairing relations with Prince William, Harry's older brother, may be more challenging given past disagreements and allegations. Harry has not returned to the U.K. without security detail, raising questions about whether this is a new requirement or a change in the government's assessment of his risk.
