Happy birthday to our weekly sports quiz, it will be exactly a year this Friday, 21 August since we relaunched it in 2025.

Weekly sports quiz: Golds, photobombs and Community Shield

Our weekly sports quiz marks its first anniversary on Friday, 21 August, a full year since its relaunch in 2025. We extend our gratitude to all participants and look forward to another 12 months of engaging quizzes. The inaugural quiz featured questions on VAR controversies, The Hundred, and an extraordinary baseball catch. To cater to varying skill levels, our easiest quiz was released on 23 April, with 26% of users achieving full marks, while our most challenging quiz was published on 19 March, where only 4% managed to score seven out of seven correct answers.

In anticipation of the new Premier League season, we've introduced two exciting new quiz formats: "Who am I?" and "Five in Five." Additionally, a third quiz format is set to launch soon. If you're eager to test your knowledge further, navigate to our dedicated Football Quizzes and Sports Quizzes pages and register for notifications to receive the latest quizzes directly on your device.

For all Five in Five football quizzes in one place, check out our collection of Premier League "Who Am I?" quizzes, and answer questions such as the names of clubs in the Premier League and EFL, players with the most Premier League appearances, the top 10 Lionesses England caps holders, and every team that has participated in the WSL.

If you wish to challenge your memory, revisit last week's quiz. Please share your score and insights in the comments section, but be cautious, as it may contain spoilers!
