The government has temporarily made available spaces to accommodate 1,800 migrants who are currently living on the street in the Trampolín beach and Loma Colmenar area in Ceuta. An expansion of these facilities is planned. The relocation of migrants to these facilities is being carried out voluntarily starting on Thursday morning, as part of a coordinated effort with Spain's security forces and the Ceuta government, according to sources from the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations.

Spanish Prime Minister Juan Manuel Moreno will travel to Ceuta on Thursday. The Senate, where the People's Party has an absolute majority, has called the Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska a second time to address the migration crisis in Ceuta, following his previous invitation which he declined due to what he described as "impossibility" and his intention to provide all explanations in Congress on August 28.
