UFC vets Andre Fili, Kai Kamaka III set to throw down

Two seasoned featherweight fighters, Andre Fili and Kai Kamaka III, are set to face off in the octagon on October 10th at UFC Fight Night 290 in Las Vegas. The highly anticipated matchup was recently confirmed by two anonymous sources familiar with the booking.

Andre Fili, who has been with the UFC since 2013, enters the bout with a record of 13-13 in the UFC. Despite his lengthy tenure with the promotion, Fili has struggled recently, losing two straight fights and three of his last four. His most recent defeat came in June when he was submitted by Vinicius Oliveira.

Kamaka, on the other hand, returned to the UFC in April after a five-year absence from the promotion. He put together two impressive wins in a short span, defeating Dakota Hope by unanimous decision and then upsetting Luke Riley via first-round TKO. Kamaka's previous fight was a hard-fought victory over Luke Riley, who had to be taken down in the first round.

The upcoming UFC Vegas 122 card will feature a mix of familiar faces and rising stars, including Loopy Godinez vs. Ketlen Souza, Otar Tanzilovi vs. Malcolm Wellmaker, and Matheus Camilo vs. Jai Herbert. The full card includes fights between Artur Minev and Francisco Prado, Alice Pereira and Darya Zheleznyakova, Felipe Franco and Alexander Poppeck, Melissa Gatto and Ernesta Kaareckaite, Gerald Meerschaert and Julius Walker, Allen Frye and RJ Harris.
