Trabzonspor’s heartwarming surprise for young Mohamed Salah fan

Trabzonspor, a young Mohamed Salah supporter's dream come true, orchestrated an emotional surprise that brought Isaac Kearney and his family to Turkey for a special encounter with their hero. The gesture transcended the realm of a typical football club, embodying a deeper connection between the players and the fans. The video shared by the club, captioned "More than just a club …", showcased the journey from the United Kingdom to Trabzon and the unforgettable moment when Isaac met Salah once again.

Isaac, a Liverpool supporter with Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, first gained recognition in 2024 when Salah and Virgil van Dijk made a surprise visit to his school. Following Salah's transfer to Trabzonspor in the summer of 2026, Isaac expressed his unwavering support for the Egyptian star, reaffirming his dedication to Salah regardless of his current club.

Trabzonspor's management then orchestrated the entire trip, ensuring Isaac and his family arrived in Trabzon specifically for the surprise meeting. The club's video highlighted the touching sequence where Isaac journeyed to Turkey, donned a personalized Trabzonspor shirt adorned with "M. SALAH 10" on the back, and ultimately stepped onto the training pitch.

As the players recognized him, Salah expressed genuine surprise and delight, subsequently embracing Isaac in an emotional and heartwarming hug. Isaac subsequently shared his gratitude on social media, praising Trabzonspor for making the moment possible, emphasizing it as a day etched in his memory. Mohamed Salah, having departed from Liverpool after nine successful years adorned with two Premier League titles and the Champions League, signed a two-year contract with Trabzonspor, donning the No. 10 shirt and now seamlessly integrating into manager Fatih Tekke's squad. The story of Trabzonspor now includes Salah's new chapter in his remarkable football journey.
