Facundo Torres and Guilherme Biro each netted a goal as Austin FC edged out the Seattle Sounders 2-1 in their MLS debut. Damian Las made a remarkable performance, recording five saves during his first game in the league. Austin FC's winning streak to 2-1 extended Seattle's losing streak to eight games, the longest losing streak for a franchise in a single season. The Sounders' losing streak is the longest in MLS history since Nashville's eight-game losing streak in 2024.
