Tamil Nadu CM Vijay extends greetings on World Photography Day

On August 19, 2026, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay conveyed his best wishes to photographers worldwide on the occasion of World Photography Day. In a message published on X, the Chief Minister expressed that photographers have the unique ability to transform every moment of life into enduring memories. He highlighted that the beauty of artistic photographs lies in their inability to be described with words.

Instead, they capture the fleeting nature of time in a single frame, serving as a link to the past that can be passed down to future generations. Members of the Tamil Nadu Press Photographers Cooperative Housing Society paid their respects to Mr. Vijay at the Secretariat on the same day.
