Strasbourg, the French football club, has shown interest in Saint-Étienne's Lucas Stassin, reports RMC Sport. The Alsace club's attacking options are limited, with key players like Emanuel Emegha and David Datro Fofana having either transferred elsewhere or are set to return to their parent club. Joaquín Panichelli's ACL injury has sidelined him for an extended period, and Jacobo Ortega, a recent addition from Real Madrid, is still in the early stages of his career.
Despite his young age, Stassin is seen as a more experienced alternative, currently restricted to a second consecutive season in Ligue 2 with Saint-Étienne. The Belgian international is attracting attention from various clubs across Europe, and Strasbourg might be among the interested parties before the transfer window closes.
