SnapMind is back with a long-awaited update, continuing the development of the AI project despite the delay in posting status updates. The app has been optimized for the user's daily needs, and the creator's initial concept of binding prompts to hotkeys has evolved. Now, the aim is to build agents instead, leading to a decision to rebuild SnapMind using an agent-based approach.
The major update will enable users to create agents and bind them to hotkeys. Additionally, the LLM provider service will be migrated to a more robust solution, as the current one, generated by AI, struggles to keep up with the frequent updates of API endpoints with the release of new models.
The app can be downloaded from the website or from the GitHub repository containing the Electron artifacts. The latest release is available at https://github.com/Snap-Mind/snap-mind/releases/tag/v0.5.5. Feedback is welcomed!
