Qatar, Egypt and Turkiye condemn recent Israeli Attacks in Gaza

Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, acting as mediators, vehemently condemned the recent Israeli assaults in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in casualties among civilians, including women and children. They expressed grave concern over the ongoing breaches of peace. In a joint declaration, these nations emphasized that the surge in Israeli attacks jeopardizes regional and global endeavors to resolve the conflict in Gaza during a crucial juncture.

They were in the midst of implementing a comprehensive plan to end the conflict, including a meeting between the Peace Council and Israeli officials, and making concerted efforts in the negotiation process.

The mediators stressed the imperative for Israel to strictly adhere to all its commitments under the ceasefire agreement and to eschew any actions that could undermine the ceasefire or precipitate further tensions. They reiterated their plea to the international community and the Peace Council, led by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, to take the requisite measures to ensure compliance with the ceasefire as per Security Council Resolution 2803. They also urged the exertion of effective pressure to avert any additional escalation.
