100 Citizen Scientists to Seobeksan Mountain… 2-Day 'Biodiversity Joint Survey' 지난 6월 24일부터 25일까지 이틀 동안 100명의 시민과학자들이 국립공원 소백산에서 생물다양성 합동조사를 진행했다. From June 24 to 25, 100 citizen scientists conducted a joint biodiversity survey at Seobeksan National Park over two days. 국립공원공단과 생물다양성연구소는 생물다양성 보전과 인식 확산을 위해 이번 조사를 기획했으며, 조사에는 일반 시민 80명과 전문가 20명이 참여했다. The National Park Service and the Biodiversity Institute planned this survey to conserve and raise awareness of biodiversity, and 80 general citizens and 20 experts participated in the survey. 이번 합동조사는 소백산의 자연생태계를 대상으로 한 6개 분야(식생, 곤충, 조류, 포유류, 양서·파충류, 미생물)에 걸쳐 진행됐다. This joint survey covered six areas of the natural ecosystem of Seobeksan: vegetation, insects, birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles, and microorganisms. 시민과학자들은 분야별 전문가와 팀을 이뤄 식물과 곤충을 관찰하고, 카메라 함정과 생물 음성 탐지기 등을 활용해 다양한 생물을 조사했다. The citizen scientists formed teams with experts in each field to observe plants and insects, and used camera traps and biological audio detectors to investigate various organisms. 조사 첫날인 24일에는 참가자 전원이 국립공원공단 소백산생태탐방원에서 발대식을 갖고, 안전교육과 생물다양성 교육을 받은 후 6개 조로 나뉘어 현장으로 향했다. On the first day of the survey, June 24, all participants held a kick-off ceremony at the Seobeksan Eco-Tourism Center of the National Park Service, and after receiving safety and biodiversity education, they divided into six teams and headed to the field. 국립공원공단과 생물다양성연구소는 이번 합동조사 결과를 바탕으로 소백산의 생물다양성 보전과 관리방안을 모색할 계획이다. Based on the results of this joint survey, the National Park Service and the Biodiversity Institute plan to seek measures for conserving and managing the biodiversity of Seobeksan.
