Nicole Atkins has released her latest album "Drama" and shared the singles "When The Night Falls" and "Singing In The Mirror". Her new album opener, "Trippin' On Teardrops", was initially an SOS-like chorus that she worked on with Peter Morén, whose visit to Nashville proved helpful. The song reflects her own struggles with loneliness, self-doubt, and sleep issues during a challenging period in her life.
The video for the song was filmed at an estate in the Jersey Shore, owned by the NJ Parks system, with a unique concept of a glamorous woman waking up in a seemingly perfect life, surrounded by dead and shellacked fishes on the walls.
