KTR backs polytechnic students’ agitation

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao pledged unwavering backing to the polytechnic students who are protesting against GO MS No. 97. In a statement, he called for the immediate withdrawal of the order, expressing concern that it had left thousands of students uncertain about their future. Rao cautioned the government against "playing with the lives of polytechnic students."

He accused the government of using the police to silence the peaceful protesters. Rao noted that the BRS student wing and other party leaders had already joined in several protests in solidarity with the agitating students and affirmed their total support for the students' agitation.
