Check out pics of the R&B star.
The afternoon sun bathed a serene cottage in Topanga Canyon on a scorching July day, hiding the true excitement brewing within. Longtime R&B collaborators Kehlani and Leon Thomas, now boasting Grammy wins and Billboard accolades, gathered to celebrate Kehlani's meteoric rise. The pair, both Grammy winners, reveled in their friend's newfound success.
Kehlani's chart-topping single "Folded," which catapulted her to the Billboard Hot 100 No. 6 spot, earned her two Grammy Awards in February. Now certified double platinum by the RIAA, "Folded" has become an enduring R&B classic, staying at No. 1 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart for a record-breaking 20 weeks. Kehlani's fifth studio album, also self-titled, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
