FPL tips 2026/27: 44 players you should consider signing

The budget for each team is fixed at £100m, and managers must strike a balance between expensive premium picks and hidden gems. In the premium tier, the only forward option is Erling Haaland (£15.5m), who is the most expensive FPL player of all time and guarantees goals.

Haaland is likely to be the most popular captain each week, so going without him is a significant risk.

In midfielders, Bruno Fernandes (£12.0m) is a strong contender, having earned the second-most FPL points last season. He contributes goals, assists, set-pieces, and penalties. However, his £12.0m price tag may be questioned in a season where Manchester United will also have Champions League football to contend with. Other midfield options include Antoine Semenyo (£8.5m), Bryan Mbeumo (£8.0m), and Josko Gvardiol (£5.5m).
