Four’s Company in Shygirl’s New “Alyse” Video
A high-drama clip accompanies the London artist’s first single of the year
Shygirl has released her first single of the year, "Alyse," co-written and produced with Karma Kid and JD Reid. The six-minute, three-part video for the song, directed by Francesco Loy Bell and Oliver Bell, begins in media res, with two segments showing wealthy individuals learning about their partner's infidelity. Ultimately, the video culminates in a chase through London's streets.
However, it was later revealed via an Instagram story that Shygirl herself is not featured in the video. Shygirl's previous full-length album, Nymph, was released in 2022, and she has also dropped two projects this year: Club Shy Room 2 and the remix companion Alias is Me. Additionally, she collaborated with Eartheater on the singles "Shark Brain" and "Dolphin."
