Four arrests over burglaries as gardaí contain car on M50

Four men have been apprehended after gardaí stopped a vehicle on the M50, a managed containment operation in Dublin this morning. The suspects, identified as members of an organized burglary gang, were 20s and 40s years old. They were pulled over around 10:30am, and their silver car was searched, resulting in the seizure of burglary tools, gloves, and face coverings.

Gardaí suspect that this 2006 Volvo S4 has been involved in multiple burglaries across the country due to its bearing of false registration plates. All four men are currently detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 at Dublin garda stations. The Gardaí are urging the public for any information regarding the vehicle or sightings, requesting contacts to Dublin Crime Response Team at 01 666 9896, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any local garda station.
