Fashion designer Anju Modi shared a memory of Priyanka Chopra's remarkable dedication and discipline in the 2013 film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. During the song "Ram Chahe Leela," Priyanka wore a costume with a handwritten Gayatri Mantra on her waist. The song was not completed in one day, and Priyanka was instructed not to move, laugh, or speak to ensure the artistic integrity of the creation.

Psychotherapist Delnna Rrajesh explained that discipline is about aligning oneself with priorities, even when enthusiasm fades, the task is repetitive, or no one is watching. She emphasized that discipline is a form of self-leadership and is crucial for achieving success.

Delnna further noted that talent alone is not enough for mastery, as it thrives during unglamorous moments like consistently showing up, preparing, accepting corrections, and completing tasks. Developing discipline involves small, practical steps such as setting smaller but non-negotiable commitments, reducing mood-dependent behavior, creating systems for important goals, measuring consistency over intensity, building recovery time, and practicing resuming after setbacks.
