EPL: Liverpool make approach for Brighton winger Minteh — Reports

Liverpool have made a move to sign Brighton's winger Yankuba Minteh, according to recent reports from BBC Sport. The 22-year-old Gambian international, who joined Brighton from Newcastle for £30 million in 2024, has netted 10 goals and provided nine assists in 73 appearances for Brighton since his move. Minteh typically plays on the right wing but is presently healing from a leg injury he picked up during a friendly match against Roma earlier this month.

The Reds are seeking to bolster their attacking options after the departure of Mohamed Salah, and are expected to pursue several targets before the transfer window closes. The club also signed Victor Munoz from Osasuna for £34 million earlier this summer, with Munoz able to play both on the wing and in the middle. Liverpool are interested in Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola, but the two clubs are far apart in their valuation of the 23-year-old France forward, with PSG reportedly wanting around £145 million.
