Carrick confirms Man Utd star will return ‘very, very soon’

Michael Carrick shared an injury update on his Manchester United squad ahead of the upcoming match against Hull City. He revealed that Mason Mount will be back in action "very, very soon." The Red Devils are set to travel to Hull City on Saturday, with the kickoff scheduled at 12.30pm BST. Mount, who has been dealing with injury problems since joining Man Utd from Chelsea in 2023, is currently a doubt for the game.

However, Carrick emphasized that Mount is recovering from a knock and does not have a serious issue. Carrick praised Mount as a top player, noting that he has been one of their best players in pre-season. The manager stated that the team is working hard to help Mount return to full fitness and rhythm. Carrick also confirmed that Matthijs De Ligt, Benjamin Sesko, and Karl Darlow have returned to training after recovering from injuries.
