Business : Ascend Airways Malaysia Obtains CAAM Approval For Passenger Operations

KUALA LUMPUR - Ascend Airways Malaysia has received approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia to include passenger operations in its Air Operator Certificate. This approval comes after the airline successfully completed the AOC variation process, according to a Facebook post. The approval encompasses the airline's first passenger aircraft, the Boeing 737-800, in its Operations Specifications.

Ascend Airways plans to operate a total of three Boeing 737-800s under ACMI arrangements by the end of 2026. This accomplishment is a testament to the team's hard work, discipline, and collaboration, along with CAAM's close coordination and guidance throughout the AOC variation process.
