Boo Carter came to Colorado as a defensive back, but like Travis Hunter, could see snaps on offense

Boo Carter, a defensive back for Colorado, may soon be playing on offense as well. He could line up in the backfield or even play wide receiver, similar to his former Tennessee teammate, Travis Hunter. Carter's coach, Deion Sanders, believes he could excel on offense, stating "he has to focus on dominating the defensive game and then we’ll see about that."

Carter transferred from Tennessee after a successful freshman season, where he led the SEC with a 16.5-yard average on punt returns and finished with 1,795 all-purpose yards and 27 touchdowns. Sanders predicts Carter could be a pro this year or a top-five pick if he plays another year. Carter's skills on both sides of the ball and Sanders' mentorship make him a promising prospect for Colorado's offense.
