Besfort Zeneli Siblings: All About Arbër Zeneli

Besfort Zeneli is a Swedish professional footballer of Kosovo Albanian descent who currently plays for Belgian club Royale Union Saint-Gilloise and represents the Swedish national team. Born on November 21, 2002, in Säter, Sweden, he grew up after his parents, originally from Selac near Mitrovica in Kosovo, settled in Sweden. Zeneli developed his skills in midfield, combining physical presence, technical ability, vision, and a strong work ethic.

He joined IF Elfsborg's youth ranks at the age of six and progressed through their academy, captaining the under-21 team to a Swedish championship title and scoring over 30 goals in a season with the under-19 squad. Zeneli signed his first professional contract with Elfsborg in 2022 and made his senior debut that year. Initially playing as a substitute, his development accelerated in 2024 under the management of Oscar Hiljemark, leading to more regular playing time.

He established himself as a regular starter by 2025, contributing goals and assists while occasionally leading the team as captain. In 2026, Zeneli transferred to Belgian champions Royale Union Saint-Gilloise on a three-year contract. He quickly adapted, making significant contributions to the team in the Jupiler Pro League and helping them win the Belgian Cup and Super Cup.

On the international stage, Zeneli first represented Kosovo's under-21 team before switching allegiance to the Swedish national team in January 2026. He made his senior debut for Sweden in March 2025 and played a key role in their World Cup qualification campaign, including an influential substitute appearance against Poland. Zeneli was selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad, where he made several appearances.

His accolades include the Swedish under-21 championship title as captain while at Elfsborg and being named Player of the Year for the 2025 season at his new club.
