5 standouts from Day 2 of Patriots training camp practice with Eagles

On the second day of joint training camp practices between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles, the teams showcased their competitive spirit and skill. The focus was on situational drills, with particular emphasis on the red zone. After the Patriots dominated Wednesday's practice, the Eagles showed up more intense and focused on Thursday. Both teams matched each other in every aspect on the field.

Among the standout players from the practice were cornerback Marcus Jones. Despite being a backup, Jones consistently produced big plays, including two interceptions on Thursday - one of which might have been a pick-six. Wide receiver Kayshon Boutte also shined, drawing two defensive pass interference penalties and scoring a contested touchdown catch during the two-minute drill.

Defensive tackle Cory Durden was relentless in pressuring Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. Edge rusher Elijah Ponder, like Durden, generated pressure and broke up passes. Finally, rookie offensive tackle Dametrious Crownover made a solid impression, completing all three of his one-on-one reps.
