You may have just gotten Alexa+ AI for free, even if you dont have Amazon Prime

Amazon has now made Alexa+, its artificial intelligence (AI) assistant, available for free with every Fire TV device, including the current-generation Fire TV Sticks, Fire TV Cube, Amazon Ember smart TVs, and other smart TVs running the Fire TV operating system. Users do not need to take any action or download additional apps to access this new feature.

Alexa+ allows users to interact with movies and TV shows they are watching or discover new content based on their entertainment preferences. They can ask for specific film and television recommendations based on genre, cast, year of release, and more. Users can also ask Alexa+ questions related to the content they are currently watching. Additionally, Alexa+ can perform tasks like providing real-time weather updates or sports scores, and connect to other smart home devices.

Since its introduction, Alexa+ has proven to be popular among users, who have nearly twice as many conversations with it compared to the original Alexa. Amazon claims that millions of customers already use the service, and that Alexa+ recommendations have improved, with customers picking its top suggestions over 40% more often than with the original Alexa.

To expand its user base, Amazon is now rolling out Alexa+ to all Fire TV users. This move mirrors the strategy of other tech giants, such as Google, which has made its AI features available to users at no additional cost when integrated into existing products.
