Winnie the Pooh's Voice Actor Isn't Happy About Getting Snubbed by Disney's Hall of Legends

Jim Cummings, the iconic voice behind beloved Disney characters such as Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and Pete, expressed disappointment over his exclusion from Disney's Hall of Legends at D23 this year. Disney's Hall of Legends honours the studio's most influential figures, including actors, animators, executives, and other industry professionals.

In its most recent induction, notable names like Anne Hathaway, The Rock, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Bob Iger were recognized, but not Jim Cummings. The actor, who has voiced characters for over 1,500 roles across movies, television, and environmental content, expressed his frustration on Instagram, sharing comments from fans who also lamented his omission.

Cummings pointed out that despite his extensive career, he was passed over in favour of newer faces with shorter tenures at the company. His disappointment was shared by his fans, who expressed their support for him on social media. Despite this setback, D23 offered fans an exciting lineup of reveals, including first looks at Kingdom Hearts IV, Frozen 3, and Marvel’s X-Men, among others.
