Wike orders immediate closure of illegal car lots in FCT green areas

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has issued an urgent order to close down illegal car dealership lots operating on green areas, parks, and gardens in Abuja. These lots have been set up in locations such as the Millennium Park and others across the city. The Minister's decision comes as part of the FCT Administration's efforts to address flooding issues in various parts of the Federal Capital City.

To ensure compliance with the directive, Wike has established a task force that will monitor the affected areas and maintain their use for their designated purposes only. The investigation into the officials who granted illegal approvals for these car dealership lots has been initiated, and they have been summoned to explain their roles by Nancy Sabanti Nathan, the Head of the Civil Service.
