Throwback: KC Luxury’s lavish lifestyle resurfaces online after NDLEA arrest

Recurring clips of social media influencer KC Luxury, also known as Afolabi Kazeem Michael, have reappeared online after his arrest by Nigeria's National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). The clips, which have been circulating on social media since the NDLEA's announcement on Tuesday, display the influencer showcasing his luxury car collection, expensive watches, and other high-value possessions.

One video features KC Luxury discussing two Mercedes-Maybachs designed by the late Virgil Abloh, stating, "I don’t think anybody has serial number 001 Maybach Virgil Ablohs. That aside. I don’t think anybody has two Virgil Ablohs of the 150." Another throwback video shows him overlooking a fleet of exotic cars, pondering his pride and joy in his luxurious lifestyle.

In another clip, the social media personality complains about the lack of support from those who only offered advice. The resurfaced videos have drawn renewed attention following the NDLEA's announcement of his arrest in connection with an alleged international cocaine trafficking ring. According to the agency, KC Luxury was apprehended at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on August 13, 2026, after intelligence suggested he was preparing to leave for Paris on a business-class flight.

The NDLEA claims he was the Nigerian leader of a cartel smuggling cocaine from South America to Europe, the United Kingdom, and Asia. The investigation began when authorities intercepted 184.50kg of cocaine concealed in a Nigerian courier company's shipment. The seizure, described as the largest of its kind in Nigeria, led to the recovery of a fleet of luxury vehicles during a search of KC Luxury's apartment on Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The influencer was also found at the airport with €7,750, £2,800, and N100,000 in cash, along with expensive jewelry.
