On the morning of the 19th, 김민석's newly appointed 더불어민주당 대표 held the first highest-level council meeting in Busan, visiting the graves of former presidents 노무현 전 대통령 and 문재인 전 대통령. This move aimed to strengthen the traditional support base among 노무현·문재인 친노·친문 supporters in the Busan-Gyeongnam region. At the meeting held at the 부산 동구 부산시당, 김 대표 pledged to conduct the highest-level council meetings transparently and based on ability, emphasizing that there would be no "faction."

He also declared that the 지도부 would bridge the gap between the 민중 and the ruling party/legislature. 김 대표 stated that they would hold the highest-level council meetings with the intention of gaining 민중's trust and respect. At the end of the meeting, he paid respects to former presidents 노무현 전 대통령 and 문재인 전 대통령 at the 묘역 and visited 경남 김해 봉하마을. 문재인 전 대통령 mentioned that intense competition among 김민석's supporters had created deep relationships among party members, and urged for efforts towards inclusion and harmony. 김 대표 pledged to ensure that derogatory, hateful, and despising language does not spread within the party.

The 부산·경남 지역 saw many 노무현·문재인 친노·친문 supporters attend the 지도부 구성 행사. 김 대표 announced additional 민주당 positions and appointed 무관민대원 (재선·충남 천안갑), 조직사무부총장 (초선·경기 광주을), and 혁신 태스크포스 단장 강득구 의원 (재선·경기 안양만안), all classified as 친명(친이재명)계. 김 대표 plans to pay respects to 전 국무총리 이해찬 and 전 열린우리당 의장 김근태 on the 20th.
