Soludo’s wife announces free computer training for youths in Anambra

Anambra State's First Lady, Dr Nonye Soludo, has unveiled a complimentary one-month computer training program for secondary school students and young individuals residing in the state. The initiative, spearheaded by Dr Soludo's non-governmental organization, Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Initiative, aims to empower participants with essential digital skills that will enhance their educational, career, and entrepreneurial prospects.

According to a statement released on Wednesday by her media representative, Daniel Ezeigwe, the training will begin on Monday, August 24, 2026, and will be conducted thrice weekly at the Healthy Living Complex, situated at No. 6, Road 13, Udoka Housing Estate, Awka. The program's focus is on imparting foundational computer skills, targeting secondary school students and young people eager to bolster their digital proficiency and confidence.

Dr Soludo's initiative emphasizes the growing significance of digital skills for education, employment, entrepreneurship, and personal growth, stressing the necessity of introducing young individuals to basic computer knowledge at an early stage. Interested candidates are required to register via the program's online registration portal to participate in this free training.
