Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid: The UAE will remain a force for hope and humanitarian action

On World Humanitarian Day, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE's Vice President and Prime Minister, reiterated the country's commitment to bringing hope and life to those in need. In his message, he emphasized that the true measure of humanitarian work is its impact on people, not merely on words or publicity.

The UAE leader reflected on the values that have guided the nation's humanitarian efforts since its inception, stating that genuine humanitarianism is demonstrated by the depth of its impact, not the volume of its voice. Sheikh Mohammed highlighted that the UAE does not require individuals to speak on its behalf, but rather those who are willing to work for it.

He reminded that the UAE has consistently chosen to be on the right side of humanitarian action since its founding under the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his fellow Founding Fathers. He expressed confidence that the UAE will continue to make a positive impact and create hope and life for its people.
