Real Madrid deny interest in Arsenal midfield star after fresh transfer links – report

Real Madrid have firmly denied any interest in Arsenal's midfielder Martin Zubimendi as the transfer window nears its close. According to MARCA, the Spanish giants are not considering the 27-year-old despite previous rumors linking him to the club. Zubimendi has been mentioned as a potential solution to Real Madrid's crowded midfield, following their failed pursuit of Rodri.

The 27-year-old is known for his possession control, tempo setting and deep-midfield role, but the club appears unwilling to pursue a deal. This stance aligns with the club's overall transfer strategy this summer, with Zubimendi repeatedly being discussed as an option without any concrete progress. Arsenal would likely resist a cheap transfer for Zubimendi, given their significant investment in him.

Additionally, his move to Arsenal last season may limit his playing time due to the presence of Bruno Guimaraes. Real Madrid currently have six signings this summer, including Fede Valverde, Bernardo Silva, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Guler, and Thiago Pitarch.
