RBC names former Ontario cabinet minister Caroline Mulroney as vice chair

Royal Bank of Canada has appointed Caroline Mulroney, a former Ontario cabinet minister, as their vice chair effective September 14th. She will report directly to Derek Neldner, the head of capital markets at the bank. Mulroney, who is the daughter of the late former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, brings a diverse professional background to her new role.

This includes expertise from public services, legal, and financial sectors. As vice chair, Mulroney will serve as a liaison between clients and various RBC services such as capital markets, commercial banking, and wealth management. Additionally, she will provide guidance to business leaders at the bank regarding government policy, regulatory matters, and developments within the public sector.
