Rams Bringing Fan Events to Australia Before Melbourne Season Opener

The Los Angeles Rams will play their first regular-season game in Australia against the San Francisco 49ers on September 11, 2023. In anticipation of this historic event, the Rams are organizing fan events across Australia. The Southbank Riverwalk will be transformed into a fan zone, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the Rams' game atmosphere at SoFi Stadium.

Additionally, a 22-yard floating football field, The Deck, will be available for fans to watch the game on a large television screen. Selected schools will participate in the Rams' inaugural Flag Football Community Day. Crown Resorts will serve as the focal point for the Rams' Australian activities, hosting exclusive events throughout the resort.

Crown Melbourne CEO Ed Domingo emphasized the special nature of this milestone event. The Rams aim to broaden their global fan base and have been actively engaging with Australian fans over the past four years. This endeavor is about more than just a game; it's a chance to strengthen ties with local communities and deliver an unforgettable experience.

Stephanie Cheng, VP/Head of International for the Rams, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming event. The NFL has plans to expand internationally, with nine regular-season games scheduled to be played in various countries this season.
