Police seek public help to ID body of woman found in suitcase

Police are urgently seeking public assistance to identify the body of a woman discovered in a suitcase near Sungai Perak, close to Jeti Lembah in Kuala Kangsar last Friday. Efforts to pinpoint the victim's identity have been unsuccessful, as both fingerprint and thumbprint checks yielded no matching records. The Perak National Registration Department also conducted a thorough search, yet no trace of her personal information could be located.

According to dental examination, the woman was estimated to be in her 30s, standing at a height of 154cm and weighing approximately 48kg. She possessed a tanned complexion and had shoulder-length black hair. When the body was discovered, the woman was dressed in a long-sleeved black-and-white striped shirt, black jeans, and was adorned with earrings.

Authorities are hopeful that members of the public can recognize the victim through these detailed physical characteristics and the clothing items she was wearing, as stated by Kuala Kangsar district police chief Heisham Harun in a recent statement.
