QuickFIT SnapConnect follows a two-step connection process, beginning with precision tube end forming using Oetiker's specialized end-forming jaws. These jaws ensure proper tube geometry and control critical dimensions for a secure seal. After end-forming, the tube is inserted into the fitting, and a polymer retainer is closed by hand, completing the connection without the need for additional tools during assembly.

The flame-free approach not only eliminates risks associated with open-flame work at installation sites but also appeals to HVAC&R applications where technicians often work in confined spaces or near equipment that makes conventional brazing challenging. Additionally, the system's design prioritizes easy disconnection for maintenance and servicing, avoiding the need to cut out fittings during service work.
