Northern Railway Empowers 123 Visually Impaired Employees With Jyoti AI Smart Glasses

New Delhi - The Northern Railway has distributed 123 Jyoti AI Smart Glasses to visually impaired employees in order to enhance their accessibility, independence and efficiency in official duties. The initiative was held at the National Rail Museum in New Delhi, in line with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. Rajesh Kumar Pandey, General Manager of Northern Railway, distributed the glasses during the event, stating that the technology will enable visually impaired railway employees to perform their duties with ease and confidence both at work and in daily life.

The smart glasses, equipped with AI and mobile assistance, were given to 123 employees across various divisions of Northern Railway. The program was initiated with a strong sense of human compassion, aiming to provide AI-enabled glasses with mobile assistance to visually impaired railway employees.
