North Carolina and NC State are set to play a nonconference game in Greensboro
The Atlantic Coast Conference's North Carolina and N.C. State teams will clash in a preseason nonconference men's basketball match in Greensboro on December 15. This marks the first time since 1919 that the two historic rivals will meet just once. The conference's reduced schedule due to expansion has eliminated the usual home-and-home series, making this an important game for both programs.
