Miss Grand Indonesia 2025 runner-up dies on her 26th birthday

Putri Andriani Juficha, the runner-up of Miss Grand Indonesia 2025, has passed away on her 26th birthday, Aug. 14, 2026. She was born on the same date, August 14, 2000. The Miss Grand Indonesia Organization announced her death on Instagram, sharing a photo of her alongside a heartfelt message. The organization expressed its deepest sorrow, mourning the loss of Putri, stating that she was more than just a titleholder; she was a cherished member of their Grand family.

Despite her journey with the organization coming to an end prematurely, the memories, love, and light she shared will endure in their hearts forever. The organization also sent condolences to her family and loved ones. Putri was born in Manado, North Sulawesi, and represented her region in Miss Grand Indonesia 2025. She was later chosen by the Putri Nusantara Organisation to compete for Indonesia at Miss Earth 2025 in Manila, Philippines.

Putri was recognized for her environmental advocacy and won a special award for Best Social Project. Her commitment to environmental issues included participating in campaigns on waste reduction, river conservation, and public education on environmental protection. Putri also pursued her passion for music, releasing a song titled "Mati Saja." However, the cause of her untimely death has not been disclosed.
