KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian sensation Lim You has emerged as a standout player at the 2026 Srikandi Merdeka Cup after scoring a remarkable seven goals in the national Under-16 women's team's 9-0 victory over Saudi Arabia at the Super Soccer Arena in Kudus, Indonesia. Displaying exceptional accuracy and power, the 14-year-old striker's left foot caused havoc for the Saudi defense throughout the game.

Lim You opened the scoring in the eighth minute, followed by additional goals in the 22nd, 27th, 57th, and 75th minutes. She sealed her impressive performance with two more goals in the 83rd and 85th minutes. This seven-goal haul not only showed off her lethal shooting ability but also marked her as the first Malaysian women's footballer to achieve such a feat in an official international match.
