Kartik Aaryan suffers knee injury on sets of Kabir Khan’s next, to undergo surgery

Kartik Aaryan, the actor who directed Kabir Khan's upcoming sports drama, has suffered a severe knee injury while filming action sequences. The injury occurred on the final day of shooting, in Mumbai. Kartik was immediately taken to Fortis Raheja Hospital in Mahim, where he is currently receiving treatment. Following his surgery, he will need to take several days off for recovery.

Despite this setback, Kartik has other projects lined up. He is set to star in Anurag Basu's untitled romance, where he will play alongside Sreeleela. This film, produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, was initially set for release on December 5, 2025, but has been postponed. Kartik's next release is currently uncertain. This is the second sports drama the actor and director have collaborated on, following Chandu Champion in 2024.
