Iran Eyes US Military Targets in Europe if War Escalates
Iranian forces have considered striking US military targets in southeastern Europe and Cyprus if President Donald Trump escalates the war, according to people close to the Iranian regime cited by the Financial Times. Tehran has also examined attacks on subsea fiber-optic cables in the Strait of Hormuz and warned that any renewed US offensive could trigger retaliation beyond the Middle East.
