Barco, who couldn't partake in preseason games, is now training with the group and preparing to make his debut. In an interview with the club's official website, Barco revealed his technical abilities and commitment to his teammates. He stated, "I'm technical. I like to play with the ball, to touch the ball and have control of the game. I can make good passes as well, but the principle is that I give everything on the pitch for my teammates."

The Argentine acknowledges that he is likely to see significant playing time off the bench during the season. However, breaking into Xabi Alonso's starting XI will be a challenging task. As transfer deadline approaches, Chelsea must make crucial decisions regarding other high-profile players, with Enzo's replacement being a particular concern. It appears the club's original £120m asking price may no longer be sufficient.
