Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja withdraws divorce case

Sunita Ahuja, the wife of Bollywood actor Govinda, has withdrawn her divorce petition against him. The news was confirmed by Govinda's manager, Shashi Sinha, who expressed relief over the development, stating that there is no separation between the couple. Sinha regretted that the matter had become public, but emphasized that the couple and their children are neutral about the decision.

Sunita had initially filed the divorce case on December 5, 2024, citing grounds of adultery, cruelty, and desertion. The case was filed at the Bandra Family Court under Section 13(1)(i), (ia), and (ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. The latest development follows a public exchange of allegations between Govinda and Sunita, where Sunita accused Govinda of cheating on her with his Roopa co-star Komal Rani Swarnkar.
