Google set to launch ‘Digital Pasban'

Google is preparing to introduce "Digital Pasban" on Thursday, an initiative aiming to provide Pakistani families with tools and resources to safeguard children from online risks and facilitate safer digital experiences. This announcement will be made at Google's "Safe Raho with Google" event, where the company plans to showcase actionable steps for parents and families to tackle the escalating online safety issues encountered by children.

Digital Pasban is intended to enhance awareness among families and assist parents in navigating the digital landscape, including addressing dangers related to unsuitable content, cyberbullying, and other online threats. Google officials Farhan S. Qureshi and Wilson White will participate in an open question-and-answer session and media briefing following the presentation, offering journalists a platform to discuss the initiative and Google's broader digital strategy in Pakistan.
