Nigerian businessman Prince Isaac Fayose has expressed disappointment over Minister of Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike's comments about the recent Osun State governorship election. Wike claimed that the federal government did not interfere in the election, stating that President Bola Tinubu allowed the people of Osun State to freely choose their leader.
Fayose disagreed, arguing that the people of Osun State had already decided before the election took place. He urged Nigerians not to compare Osun State to Rivers State, where Wike had previously served as governor. Fayose warned that God would "shock" Wike, and that the people of Osun State's choice would stand firm against attempts to change it.
