Ghana-Anhui Chamber of Commerce donates towards upcoming Constituency Games

The Ghana-Anhui Chamber of Commerce has contributed 2,120 sports essentials to the National Sports Authority (NSA) Resource Mobilisation and Partnership Committee (RMPC) to foster grassroots sports development through the Constituency Games. The donated items consist of 600 pairs of footwear, including peace canvas sneakers and casual shoes, along with 1,520 peace T-shirts available in adult unisex sizes ranging from XS to 3XL, resulting in a total of 2,120 product units.

At the ceremony, attendees included Dr Fred Awaah, chairman of the NSA Governing Board, Mr Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, NSA Director General, Mr Richard Akpokavie, president of the Ghana Olympic Committee, former Black Stars captain Andre Ayew, members of the RMPC, and other stakeholders. RMPC chairman Samson Deen expressed gratitude to the Ghana-Anhui Chamber for its partnership and support in developing sports in Ghana, emphasizing that this contribution will aid in discovering talents and not leaving any child behind due to their location or background.

This support aligns with the government's reset agenda for sports, aiming to enhance Ghana's sporting sector and improve its international standing. Ghana-Anhui Chamber chairman Tang Wei stated that the donation is a part of the company's corporate social responsibility and commitment to Ghanaian society, as they have been operating in Ghana for over 30 years.

They hope the donation will successfully achieve its intended purpose and are prepared to support further initiatives in the future. Former Black Stars captain Andre Ayew also praised the Ghana-Anhui Chamber for their donation, highlighting its importance in the growth and promotion of Ghanaian sports.
