GC University Lahore Offers 100% Free Education for Eligible Students

Government College University (GCU) Lahore, in partnership with the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund (PWWF), has introduced a program offering 100% tuition-free education to eligible workers and their children. This initiative provides 50 reserved seats in Intermediate and Bachelor of Science (Hons) courses at GCU Lahore's Main Campus and KSK Campus.

Out of these, 20 seats are designated for Intermediate programs, encompassing Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS/General Science, I.Com, and Arts/Humanities streams. GCU Lahore has allocated five Intermediate seats at the Main Campus and 15 seats at the KSK Campus.

Moreover, the university has set aside 30 seats for selected Bachelor's programs. These are available at the Main Campus, where students can pursue BS degrees in subjects such as Botany, Gender & Climate Change, Persian, Philosophy, Punjabi, and Turkish Language & Literature. The KSK Campus offers reserved seats for BS degrees in Art History, Disaster Management, Geography, Global Studies, B.Ed. (4-Year), History, Islamic Studies, Physical Education, and Remote Sensing & GIS.

Eligibility for this scheme is limited to eligible industrial workers and their children who fulfill the criteria set by the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund. Applicants must also meet GCU Lahore's admission and merit requirements for their chosen Intermediate or BS program. Interested candidates can obtain the Nomination-cum-Admission Form from the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund website.
