Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra leaks in the worst ‘spot the difference’ game ever

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is set to be a modest refinement, according to a leaked image that suggests the design is largely unchanged. The large Android tablets from Samsung continue to grow, with the 14.6-inch device expected to arrive in the coming months. A fresh chipset, pre-installed Android 17, and other adjustments are anticipated, but the hardware itself appears largely unchanged.

The leaked image, shared by Android Headlines, showcases the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra with slim bezels, a metal body, a teardrop selfie camera notch, and dual cameras on the rear. When compared to last year's Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, the differences are virtually non-existent. An effort has been made to align the leak with the official image of the Tab S11 Ultra to ensure accuracy, and the result is a side-by-side comparison that shows no significant variations.

Samsung's tablets have long been a mature form factor, and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra design appears to be a continuation of this trend. The Tab S11 Ultra made a small adjustment by reducing the display notch and relocating the S Pen charging station to the frame. However, even the Tab S10 Ultra, Tab S9 Ultra, and Tab S8 Ultra all maintained the same appearance. It remains to be seen whether the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will feature any significant improvements beneath its unaltered exterior.
